| Description: | The Access Conference provides a comprehensive forum for access and universal design issues in Alaska. This year, professionals will gain expertise in applying the latest standards for visitable housing, usable websites, educational access, outdoor recreation, and accessible buildings and facilities. We will explore beyond buildings to new access standards for programs and services. Pre-conference sessions will focus on the new generation of access in employment. Workshops and exhibitions will review the latest access in areas such as recreation, voting, emergency preparedness, and assistive technology. All tracks will include a policy and planning forum and some will include award presentations for promising designs. The conference will be held at the William A.
